Rogue mechanics

I just wanted to create a thread about rogue mechanics I was too lazy to experiment / moves that happen during fights and that I don't understand. I'll just throw my questions and if I get a nice answer, I'll update my post so it benefits everyone. Same if someone comes up with a nice question, I'll update the post. 

EDIT1 : I got a few answers from in-game that I'll share
EDIT2 : More answers ; I'm not giving up on this post, I find it interesting :p . It would be amazing to have feedbacks from experienced players that have encountered these situations 

Q : How do you gouge blink (i.e. the mage is gouged AND teleported) ? To me, if you gouge before it's casted, then the mage is stunned and can't blink; and, well, you can't gouge it after since the guy is teleported. 
A : Timing : it seems that if you cast gouge at the same time as blink, it should work. Server flaw ? 

Q : Can you vanish and cheap shot in a flare ? 
A : No, but you can jump+sap while in stealth for example. 

Q : Can you blind/vanish a Warrior charging without being stunned ? 
A : Someone told me it was possible, to be experimented. 

Q : Cheap shot is shorter the second time. Why, and when does it come back to normal for the same target ? 
A : Diminishing returns : I had never heard about it, and it's really interesting. "When a spell with diminishing returns is used against a target in PvP, the first effect has full duration. The effect then diminishes by 50%, then 75%, then the target becomes immune. Spells must be used on the same target within 15 seconds of the *end* of the duration in order to be diminished. In other words, if a target hasn't had a stun effect active on them for more than 15 seconds, the next stun will have full effect." (http://vanilla-wow.wikia.com/wiki/Diminishing_returns)

Q : Why can you get out of sap before the end of duration ? Is there any stat that gives you better immunity ? 
A : Heartbeat Resistance : "heartbeat resist is an early break in a spells effect due to periodic checking for resistance. The result is that the resisted effect ends prematurely." (http://vanilla-wow.wikia.com/wiki/Heartbeat_Resistance). Very few information on the internet. And pretty weird to me since since Sap doesn't belong to any school of magic, does it ? So it should have no relationship with resistances. 

Q : wtf is shadowmelding a cheapshot ? ( Perplexity : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PB25g_bTY00&t=66s 2:01)
A : Timing again : if you cast SM at the exact same time you're being CS, you can avoid it. It works similarly as vanishing a blind ;
